Review of Melitta FilterPads (50 count) For the Senseo and other Pod Coffee Machines

Melitta FilterPads (50 count) For the Senseo and other Pod Coffee MachinesI got a free Senseo coffee maker as a part of the Share Senseo program, I would never have bought one for myself. We love our French Press. When the Senseo arrived, I could not believe how easy it was to use.And I could not believe how disgusting the coffee tasted.I didn't know whether it was a design flaw or just really lousy coffee. After trying all manner of Senseo pods, I decided to jury-rig a homemade pod using a coffee filter and some Starbucks Breakfast Blend.Well, it was a nice cup of coffee, a bit weak, but the flavor was definitely there. So when I saw these filterpads, I had to try them. They work a treat!I thought they'd rip, but they are very durable and easy to fill. The pods take exactly four measuring teaspoons of filter ground coffee.I filled two pods and made one great cup of coffee, complete with the little froth on top. Then I spent about 10 minutes and filled up 20 pods to fill my Senseo canister. If you love your Senseo but hate the coffee, grab a box of these pods. Now you can have your great coffee and drink it, too.

Product Description
You get 50 (FIFTY) filters per box! What is your favorite coffee? So many different people, so many different coffees. Would you like to use the brands/flavors that you like best in your pod coffee maker? Now you can! Because the Melitta filterpads can be filled with your favorite coffee in a second. Make it as strong or weak as you like, by putting more or less coffe in the filterpad. This is really enjoying your coffee!taste! This is how to use your filterpad : Fill it with 3-4 teaspoons ground 'drip coffee' or ground espresso coffee (the finer the better). Push the flap inside, and make sure the coffee is spread evenly in the filterpad. Make sure the filterpad is closed securely. Put the filterpad in your 'pod holder' of the machine you have, close the lid and make the coffee!Important Tips:The finer the grind, the better the results. So don't use coffee that is ground too coarse. A 'drip coffee' grind is fine enough (but espresso or Turkish grind is better). The optimum 'filling amount' is 6-8 grams of ground coffee. This is 3-4 LEVEL teaspoonful. Remove any loose grains of coffee off the closed padfilter before putting it in the pod coffee machine. Used filterpads can be put with the green waste since they are biodegradable!
